Terms and Conditions

General

All our prices include VAT and insurance, a damage excess applies to all hires and is dependent on class of vehicle.

A deposit is required on all hires and must be done by card and verified by chip and pin by the hirer at the time of hire.

Bank Holidays

We are closed all Bank Holidays and close at 12.00pm on the Saturday preceding all Bank Holidays

Breakdowns

All vehicles come with breakdown Assistance.

Details can be found on the Rental Agreement and also the Windscreen

Cancellations

We require 7 days notice if you wish to cancel a booking to allow us time to re hire.

Deposits for People Carriers, Minibuses & Refrigerated vehicles are not refundable unless we sucessfully rehire.

Drivers

All Drivers should be 25 years of age, under 75 years of age and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.
The driving Licence must be produced at the time of hire, together with a share my licence unique code from the DVLA. Please find a link to the DVLA website on the top right of the front page of our website.
Endorsements, Bans, Criminal Convictions, pending Criminal Convictions, Illnesses, Accidents and Losses are at the Insurers discretion and must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Two forms of additional ID will be required at the time of hire, one from each list.

Government issued documents.

  • Current valid passport, or a Biometric Residence Permit (UK)

  • Birth certificate (UK and Channel Islands) issued after the time of birth by the General Register Office/relevant authority (photocopies are not acceptable)

  • Marriage/civil partnership certificate (UK and Channel Islands)

  • Adoption certificate (UK and Channel Islands)

  • HM Forces ID card (UK)

  • Firearms Licence (UK and Channel Islands)

Secondary docs for confirmation of current address. Ideally less than a month old, but certainly less than 3 months old.

  • Mortgage statement.

  • Bank/building society statement.

  • UK Bank/building society account opening confirmation letter.

  • Credit card statement.

  • UK Financial statement, e.g. pension, endowment, ISA.

  • P45/P60 statement.

  • Council Tax statement.

  • Work Permit/Visa (UK – UK Residence Permit, valid up to expiry date)

  • UK Utility bill.  (Not including a mobile telephone bill.)

  • UK Benefit statement, e.g. Child Allowance, Pension.

  • A document from central/local government authority or agency giving entitlement, e.g. from the Department for Work and Pensions, the Employment Service, HM Revenue and Customs, Job Centre, Job Centre Plus, Social Security (UK and Channel Islands)


Drivers should be between 25 and 75 years of age, however Cars up to 1400cc and Vans up to 3000kg GVM are available from the age of 23. Vehicles over 3500 GVM Drivers must have passed a test for the group of vehicle being hired and be between 30 and 70 years of age and held a full licence for at least 5 years.

Mileage

All vehicles have a generous free mileage allowance.

Cars allowance is 150 per day, 750 per week or 2000 per 28 days.

Excess mileage charges are 15p per mile

Vans allowance is 200 per day, 1000 per week

Excess mileage charges are 18p per mile.

 

 The Rental Day

Our day is from 8am until 8am the next morning.
The Weekend is from 8am Saturday until 8am Monday.

Mini Buses (17 seats)

You must have Group D1 on your licence to hire these vehicles unless it is an old style licence which will show A & E.

Drivers must be between 30 and 70 years of age with a full licence for at least 5 years.

Fuel

Diesel vehicles are full to the brim, we will refill on return and deduct the cost from the deposit.
We request that petrol vehicles are returned with the same amount of fuel.

Customer Car Park

Our Customer Car Park is free, subject to available space.

The Maximum stay is 24 hours.

No Customer parking on Sundays, Rental returns only.
